[x3d-public] How to win at the web game! PHP+X3D = Web3D

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=caTKQr57B8o  PHP at 75+% of all websites
(WordPress and other content management systems).

So, how do we get X3D working with PHP?  It looks like PHP dominates the
web.  I see Wordpress plugins that include VRML, X3D and glTF to name a
few formats.

So, what if we created a PHP SAI?  Can we do server-side PHP SAI that
modifies the web client rendering?  Can we provide 3D libraries to make
3D programming in PHP easier?

Can we collect some X3D resources from using PHP and X3D together?
Indeed, we have 0 references to PHP on the X3d resources page, see image
attached.  I can start collecting items of interest, if it's agreed that
they will be added to the website.

Is the problem that PHP is not "researchy" enough, and it's too tied to
commerce?  Hasn't the web itself been tied to commerce for a long time
now?  Is it time for a new web based on 3D?  We tried it in 1997, Open
Croquet/Cobalt tried it, croquet.io seems to be back at it.  What stands
in our way of a 3D web?  I sure would enjoy a script-less 3D email (I
could mail my "3D art" as non-fungible tokens to my relatives). Didn't
the whole web kind of start as a multimedia e-mail app on the NeXT
boxes? Should 3D go back history to capture the future?  Where are the
embedded 3D attachments in MIME?  Does any email client handle 3D
attachments?  Thanks! John I'm perfectly willing to start diving into
Thunderbird as a team member, not as a leader.
