https://www.web3d.org/documents/specifications/19776-1/V3.3/Part01/concepts.html#Statements
item f. refers to "see 4.10.2 Route semantics in Part 1 of ISO/IEC 19775"
However, there is no 4.10.2 Route semantics section in 19775-1 .
Possibly just an obsolete reference.
Instead, there is 4.4.2.4.1
https://www.web3d.org/documents/specifications/19775-1/V4.0/Part01/concepts.html#ModifyingObjectsRoutes
and
4.4.8.2 https://www.web3d.org/documents/specifications/19775-1/V4.0/Part01/concepts.html#Routes
Also,
6.3.5 https://www.web3d.org/documents/specifications/19776-1/V3.3/Part01/EncodingOfNodes.html#ChildContentModelSceneGraphStructure
states that the content model ChildContentModelSceneGraphStructure
includes ROUTE elements (as the only such content model) but this
content model does not seem to be used by any field as indicated by a
text search in the document. The name sounds like it is used by the
Scene element which is not a x3d node. The xml schema appears to use
it for extending X3DChildNode sequences in X3DGroupingNodes. If a
description could be generated to be included in the document outside
of the xml schema itself, it may be useful, perhaps via an appinfo
element.
