[x3d-public] x3d.py roundtrip for Metadata nodes in v.3.3 and v.4.0

Don, if you said it’s HTML output from x3d.py, I would say great, now let’s
change it to XML output and really test it. I don’t know a good way to
validate x3d inside HTML. Do you?
We’ve got to validate the x3d.py output with tovrmlx3d, X3D-Edit, and
whatever tool we have available and notify them if we see discrepancies in
their tools.
Remember my simple test. If containerFields are not required in XML, the
browser vendors should be put on notice. If containerFields are required
in XML, then x3d.py should be put on notice. I don’t want to burn my
credits on the browser vendor help desk.
Basically, I’m ready to give up on XML. VRML and/or JSON are preferable.
