[x3d-public] DOM document to scenegraph in Python?

Does anyone have a DOM document or python dict to scenegraph converter we
can use with a blender plugin and x3d.py?

Thanks for any info you can provide.   I believe this is the best path
forward.  x3jsonld.py is a mess.

Generated code is preferred. Python dict is preferred over DOM.
