If you make a shortcut from "castle-model-viewer.exe" to desktop, just unzip the example then drag the file from the folder into the shortcut icon. 
  
The user code text file is easily edited to produce an animation. 
Search for the set of "Test" Interpolators and enter a new value for a Joint. Select File Reload, or select the file name listed,  and see the result. Might even try x3dEdit.
