https://www.w3.org/ – 1 October 2025 – The World Wide Web Consortium is
> rolling out a new logo. This follows W3C’s formation in 2023 as a
> non-profit, public-interest organization, and the release of strategic
> objectives to support W3C’s roadmap.
> We have refreshed our logo to reflect the new type of organization we have
> become — an organization that wants to re-engage with our community, and
> reach new audiences. In addition to creating a new logo, we have changed
> our tagline (‘leading the web to its full potential’) to ‘making the web
> work — for everyone’.

The Web3D Consortium has long maintained a liaison partnership with W3C.
Our use and integration with Web standards continues to offer immense
benefits for X3D Graphics, Humanoid Animation (HAnim), and Open Standards
for Real-Time 3D Communication.

   - *W3C: Current Members and Testimonials*
   - W3C Members show their support for standards and for W3C through a
variety of means, including participation in groups, sponsorship of events,
chairing groups, and implementing specifications. This page lists
testimonials from Members that give a view into the broad range of
organizations leading the development of Web Standards.

   - *Web3D Consortium*
   - The Web3D Consortium, like W3C, supports open standardization. Web3D's
open standards for real-time 3D communication include X3D, a powerful and
extensible XML-based ISO standard for 3D visual effects, behavioral
modeling, interaction, and interoperability. Web3D membership includes
companies, institutions, working groups and individuals.

Have fun with Web Standards! 😀
