Don, this model uses LayerSet/Layer and NOT ProximitySensor. I was wrong
in our meeting. The ProximitySensor was not removed. Apologies for having
a very complex example, perhaps we can extract the menu behavior from it.
I am trying to gather interest in implementing a variety of typical 2D GUI
examples in X3d (I'm sure Doug has a supply of these). This model contains
multiple TimeSensors controlling a mesh, and thus is an important X3D
example.
A goal for the attached model is to have the menu on the left be
coordinated with the one on the right, such that if an emotion (left menu)
combines several facial animations (right menu), then when the left menu is
selected, the component facial animations menu items on the right are lit
up. This might be a good use of the MCP that Don's email presented. If we
get this complete, there's a chance that this will go in the archive.
Benefits:
* The menuing system becomes self documenting.
* More complex, interrelated X3D menus
* Extensive HAnimDisplacer examples added to those already in the archive.
* It also uses LayerSet and Layer, which Don has been asking for examples
for.
Before I lose track of it, I ask that a few people squirrel it away if they
are interested in it.
Thanks,
John
