I wrote a blog post on this topic to illustrate work I have done on
displaying 3D models on your phone (or tablet) and using the
device's orientation sensors to control the display. The post is at
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://realism.com/blog/viewing-3d-your-phone">http://realism.com/blog/viewing-3d-your-phone</a>. The collection of 3D
models is at <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://realism.com/models">http://realism.com/models</a>. Thanks to NIH and Fraunhofer
for the models.<br>

Future posts will discuss some of the other features (e.g.,
stereoscopic views) and the code used to create and manage them.<br>

<h1 class="page-title">Viewing 3D on Your Phone</h1>
Smart phones and tablets with recent releases of Chrome, Firefox,
Safari, or Internet Explorer can display 3D models from the Web.
These devices also have internal sensors that tell the browser about
its orientation. The orientation information can be used to
manipulate the view of the model without needing to interact with
the the screen - just turning your phone will show you different
orientations of the model.<br>
