Agenda:

1. Augmented Reality and the Web Workshop at Web3D Conference
- Sunday August 5, 2012, 09:00 - 10:30
- Chair: Marius Preda, Neil Trevett, OGC
Topics to cover:
- 5-10 minutes on X3D extensions for AR and the ongoing technical merger
 => Don will present, and Gun sent out a slide set he can use.
- 3-5 minutes on ISO SC24 Working Group 9 and AR Reference Model
 => Gerry Kim will prepare slides and present
- 3-5 minutes (possibly) on joint work for Binary + geometric compression
 => Don will prepare slides and present


2. Scheduling AR BOF meeting at SIGGRAPH 2012
Preliminary program:
- Opening: Introduction (Gun Lee)
- Recent AR research and standardization activities at HIT Lab NZ (Gun Lee)
- Recent AR research and standardization activities at Fraunhofer (Yvonne Jung)
- Recent AR research at Korea University and Standardization activities in ISO/IEC JTC1 SC29 (Gerard Kim)
- Closing: introducing Web3D AR WG activities and updates (Gun Lee)

 => Considering the target audience, we'll focus on showing recent AR research output/demos from each of our members.
 => Promote Web3D AR WG and SC24 WG9 activities, but avoid talking the standardization issues in-depth.
 => Gun will prepare an abstract of the BOF meeting and send it to Anita and Leonard.


3. Brief review on SC29 Activities
- Gerard Kim is preparing for a NWIP for upcoming SC24 plenary meetings.
- We discussed that the NWIP should focus more on showing the necessity of the new work, rather than focusing on the technical details.
 => Richard Puk could provide a reference to revise the current version.


4. Next meeting schedule
No teleconference meeting in August since we are meeting offline at conferences.
