Wondering if someone has some Java source that provides a simple
way to create a png image from a PixelTexture definition.
These would be good to add to our example archives to illustrate
the pretty-print HTML documentation. Examples:
<PixelTexture image='2 2 3 0xFF0000 0xFFFF00 0xFFFF00 0xFF0000'/>
as shown in
http://www.web3d.org/x3d/content/examples/ConformanceNist/Appearance/Appearance/pixeltexture.x3d
http://www.web3d.org/x3d/content/examples/ConformanceNist/Appearance/Appearance/pixeltexture.html
http://www.web3d.org/x3d/content/examples/ConformanceNist/Appearance/Appearance/_viewpoints/pixeltexture.x3d._VP_Front%20View.png
would produce an image file like the one attached:
RedYellowCheckerboard.png
An Xj3D invocation would be easy to add to the archive build files.
Any open-source Java could also be integrated with X3D-Edit
(which already supports image-file import into a PixelTexture).
Suggestions welcome, TIA.
all the best, Don
