[x3d-public] Message passing/declarative SAI

After many years, I am clueing in to the “message passing” movement, and
why it’s important.

People complain that i talk like I’m talking to a bot.

We don’t want to make the same mistake we made with Unix shell.

Indeed, the good things, like the internet, X3D, BLISS, are based on
declarative message passing.

I think that command/functions/imperative programming/c++/Java are all
pretty much military lambda calculus stuff when Turing probably had a
better idea.

So how do we create a declarative message passing SAI for X3D? GPT-3?
 capsule networks?

DFDL looks like a good way to do declarative transformations. I’m not as
sure with XSLT.

If SAI transforms the scengraph, can we transform the scenegraph with DFDL?

Your thoughts are welcome. Obviously we can layer imperative style on
top of message passing.

it would appear that what I calling programming by wiring would be a form
of message passing.
