[x3d-public] The TerraForce (ParraForce? BabelFish?)

Imagine a huge hierarchical tensor, with “from” encodings, bindings,
schemas, grammars, languages, railroad diagrams, UML, SysML, metalanguage,
headers etc. down the left and with “to” encodings, binding, schemas,
grammars, languages, railroad diagrams, UML, SysML, metalanguage, headers
etc. along the top.

Then imagine something similar or on another axis with documents, tables,
spreadsheets, sentences, essays, books, libraries, programs, syntax trees.

Imagine being able to open and close hierarchical levels.

Imagine a huge spreadsheet in the middle that contains mapping functions
for each pair of “cells” or intersections. So one has both the function
(from) and its inverse (to) in the same same hierarchical tensor to
translate from items on the from axis to items on to axis

AFAIK, XMLSpy, still does a good job of representing an XML or XSD
hierarchy. I’m not sure of other encodings.

And MapForce handles to/from mapping. Albiet perhaps in a tangled network,
and perhaps one-to-many instead of many-to-many.

The product of all this is translators, converters, compilers, transpilers,
stylesheets, which may be in the same hierarchical tensor, perhaps as a
hyperaxis.

But I don’t know of anything that shows the Worldwide level.

Whither intentional programming, metaprogramming, meta-modelling meta-case?

For a glimmer of this, look at:

How would one query and browse such a beast? What would you build it with?
Natural semantic metalanguage?
