This is what you want to look at for the state of my HAnim WIP pull request
for skinning on import.  The previous post for the export really sucks.

I realize that there may be duplication between the bone hierarchy and
object hierarchy.  I haven’t looked at the hierarchy recently.

Try exporting to .glb to see animations in an external format.
