[x3d-public] Computer Graphics History Virtual Museum, Gallery and Office

All,

Would you be interested in creating a Computer Graphics History Virtual Museum, Gallery and Office?
Could we get SIGGRAPH or ACM to release pictures/video?  It would be very cool to place graphics developments geographically and in time.

There’s this:

But it seems mostly focused on hardware.

Can we use X3D/VRML for this?

Can someone list the significant developments in Computer Graphics by location and timeframe?
