[x3d-public] Apache Tika - a content analysis toolkit

Here is an interesting project if someone wants to expose X3D metadata further.  It would be a good capability to support X3D search further and likely would help Semantic Web activity using X3D Ontology as well.

Apache Tika - a content analysis toolkit

The Apache Tika(tm) toolkit detects and extracts metadata and text from over a thousand different file types (such as PPT, XLS, and PDF). All of these file types can be parsed through a single interface, making Tika useful for search engine indexing, content analysis, translation, and much more.
