➢ theme is "Connected 3D Universes" 
➢ becoming univiruality  

whatever it is called, the transition happens when a universe can create discussions within itself, hopefully leading to discussions between universes.

Imho, we shouldn't refer to the term "Metaverse" any more. That term is already occupied by the big players.

On the other hand, we should try to create new visions.

Like:

1) With email, ftp and telnet, the Internet was "just the Internet"
2) With html, the Internet became the "Worldwide Web"
3) With x3d/webgl and webxr, the Internet will become the "Entrynet". It will serve as entry point into a greater universe.

The 27th International ACM Conference on 3D Web Technology will be hosted by Institut Mines-Telecom, Evry(Paris), France. Sponsored by ACM SIGGRAPH in cooperation with the Web3D Consortium.
