[x3d-public] Sub classing x3d.py and X3DJSAIL

Have people thought of subclassing x3d.py and X3DJSAIL?   What are the
possibilities?

* rendering?
* supporting additional encodings? HTML as recently shown.

Those are the only things in recent history I can think of.

Do people feel comfortable subclassing from the architecture?
