Hi John,

I had some discussion with Markus, it was about subject oriented programming.

The basic idea is to provide with each method call not only a "this" pointer, but also a "who" pointer.

Now I am considering to create a new GitHub repository at http://www.github.com/christoph-v .
After my break, I could re-start with collaboration software for associations, which we then will simply use at "The Society".

soma.......subject oriented management of associations

A friend of mine is interested in "subject oriented programming", which might help to implement satisfying privacy into our computer systems (my guess).

Competition is okay.   Monopoly is not healthy.  People should be able to easily opt-out if they are concerned about privacy.   There should be global settings on the browser or OS for privacy.   These settings should be tracked in a secure time series database (with triggers).

Maybe in our travels with collaborative systems, we should note privacy as an important feature.

I would be interested in your thoughts on James Jani.

Maybe I can think of a better Olympics where members of a team come from several nationalities, like someone from USA competing for China.  I think this had happened more than once, especially with football.

The circumstances changed, when we joined the European Union in the ninetees (utilizing the temporary weakness of the bear).

I guess Ukraine was supposed to take over our bridging function. However, this did not work out somehow.........

Not to say USA is strictly that way, we have tournaments and track-and-field meets.   Perhaps the Olympics or Paralympics in total might be the best metaphor.  Collaboration is a bit like symbiosis.

It's clear we see potential members in mankind of all colours, nations, languages, religions, sex, gender and so on, as long as they respect general human ethics (which are currently implemented by the U.N. charta of human rights), besides the necessary technological skills.

As an addendum, I have recently found cooperative (or more officially “coalition”) game theory—in addition to the previously mentioned discrete, continuous and differential (competitive) game theory.   This was not previously mentioned in https://coderextreme.net/TurnTaking.html[https://coderextreme.net/TurnTaking.html], which involved parallel and sequential turn taking, and not specifically anything about teams.  Coalition game theory is about forming teams or sides (think projects or programs at work).

It’s important to think about who is on a team.  Individuals, family, church, consortium, county, state, nation , alliance or world.  Often people become stuck in a religious or nationalistic mindset, if not egotistical.   There’s a saying “Think Globally, Act Locally” (where Act might mean contribute or collaborate).   Hence the name of “The Society.”  As the internet and technology expands our circle, we have opportunities to collaborate with others.
