A chaotic grammar has no syntax or non-linear syntax. My best current
example of this is the translator we developed. An alternative would be an
abstract syntax tree. Our translator worked with a syntax graph. Another
alternative is a Forth program, perhaps.
LISP has a lot of parentheses to denote parent-child relationships. Take
out the parentheses and you have continuous hierarchy.
What happens when you add directed arcs to a book—interactive digital
narrative? What if those arcs could be made transparent or automatic? Is
there any purpose in adding extra mouse clicks? Can we reduce mouse
clicks? Aren’t page numbers directed arcs?
How can we build a syntax-free style sheet language?
I’ve been working on breathing while resting. Helps a lot. Also not
using the computer.
