Web3D Consortium members are invited to consider participation in the World
Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) Working Group.
Some experience with SVG and HTML is suggested.
We continue to consider potential addition of SVG as an additional image
texture format as part of the Extensible 3D Graphics (X3D) 4 International
Specification. There are also some interesting technical intersections with
respect to HTML page interaction and DOM scripting.
Rechartering details follow, draft charter is available on request.
Thanks for thinking about this valuable opportunity to contribute to SVG,
X3D, HAnim, and the Web.
all the best, Don
