I don't want to say too much about this now except
that this combo of volumetric motion capture (volcap)
is fantastic (lots of cameras) and the method of
compression and processing (lots of computing) to
deliver a volumetric-like 2D element in a
scene (extended video codec) is amazing.
A complete highly detailed textured model
using performed animation that can be viewed
from any angle is produced and can be
sent as part of a live video stream.
The model and camera can be manipulated
using screen haptics.
A skeleton has been derived from the
volcap 'skin' data which might be able
to be rigged in order to take programmatic
control of the model.

This slide says it is already working with
web3d in some way using Three.js.
Really nice stuff from a very
talented and dedicated group.
Thanks,
Joe
