[x3d-public] Emojis in url attribute value?

I’m recalling that the newest JSON schema standards (which I have heard
will be self-published) have iri and iri-reference for international
purposes. It hadn’t come up before. I will make it a priority to include
iri and iri-reference in upcoming X3D JSON schemas (probably sometime
tonight).
I have also heard that AOUSD is developing a PEGTL grammar for OpenUSD.
Does anyone know if PEGTL is standardized?
I was unaware that Emojis could be part of IRIs, but it makes sense.
If anyone has enlightening information on URI vs IRI differences, please
post.
By all means, if you find errors in X3D JSON schema, post here:

The squeaky wheel gets the oil.
