Am happy to announce another update to X3D-Edit. Plugin 4.0.39 is now
released via the NetBeans plugin portal, tested and available using all of
the current versions.
- X3D-Edit 4.0 Authoring Tool for Extensible 3D (X3D) Graphics
- X3D-Edit is a free, open-source Extensible 3D (X3D) Graphics authoring
tool for simple high-quality authoring, editing, import/export, validation
and viewing of X3D scenes.

The current release adds full support for the X3D Sound Profile, including
all nodes in X3D 4.0 that spatialize the W3C Web Audio API. X3D-Edit
includes a huge number of links to many tools and capabilities supporting
X3D, including the X3D Validator (invoked via checkbox icon). This
approach lets authors maximize interoperability and test correctness by
launching every X3D player out there!
Work continues on X3D audio efforts, with a growing set of guidance and

This sound-nodes release also supports preparations and upcoming
presentations at two conferences.

validation support. Each of the sound nodes shown here receives signal
input from its children nodes, and provides signal output to its parent
node.
