X3D Community,
As I previously mentioned, I released a version of the RawKee X3D exporter for versions of Maya 2019 and newer, which can be found here:
https://github.com/und-dream-lab/rawkee/
However, I have also been working on converting RawKee from a C++ Maya plugin to a Python-based plugin. Primarily so I can take advantage of the tools found in the "x3d.py" python module, but also so I can leverage X_ITE based tools.
With some invaluable assistance from Holder Seelig, I was able to get X_ITE to run within Maya 2025 and able to launch Sunrize from Maya 2025 as well. A screenshot of this working can be found below.

The polygon model in the screenshot was exported to X3D from Maya using the Maya 2023 implementation of the C++ version of RawKee.
It'll be a while yet before I am ready to release the Python code, but I am very happy with being able to get this far as I believe it will allow me to some very interesting things with X3D and Maya.
Aaron
