[x3d-public] No Transform/Group/Shape inside HAnimJoint?

Okay, tossing another log on the fire.
I’m pretty sure Joe and Don recommended these models below be revisited to
restructure the Joints to include proper children (either HAnimJoint or
HAnimSegment, moving Transform nodes). HAnimDisplacers are placed in a
non-children field.
Also reconsider how X_ITE, Sunrize and Castle handle these models. That’s
probably up to them. What’s more convenient? Should X3DGroupingNode
parent of HAnimJoint in X3D4 be considered or not? How is HAnim different
than X3D4?
Should we standardize on engineering or design?
Trying to balance X3D4, HAnim and what we want in newer versions of the
standards. Can standards design accept feedback from practice? If every
browser accepts Transform, etc. children of HAnimJoint, is there good
reason not to standardize on that? I fully understand we probably want
most stuff under HAnimSegment, which is stuck to the HAnimJoint in all
cases I am aware of.
Joe mentioned an exception of more than one HAnimSegment for an HAnimJoint
which breaks the HAnim standard for Joint (read the children paragraph?)
Maybe I haven’t read well enough?
