[Source] Xj3D NPS branch, X3D-Edit updated

[Don Brutzman]

Terry Norbraten has integrated a large number of recent changes in the 
Xj3D trunk back into the NPS branch.  We strive to keep these 
synchronized for consistency and testing/development.

Those updates have been tested and redeployed yesterday as part of an 
X3D-Edit update.  Continued improvement welcome.
