The property also seems good, with revised name to match, and functionality addition that visibility has no effect on any collision behaviors. Revision:

=======================
10.3.3 X3DVisibleObject

X3DVisibleObject {
   SFBool [in out] visible TRUE
}

This abstract node type is the basis for all node types that have the /visible/ field specified as part of the definition.

The /visible/ field specifies whether or not the content within an node type is visually displayed. The value of this field has no effect on animation behaviors, collision behaviors, event passing, or other non-visual characteristics.
=======================

We had some difference of opinion (or understanding) about whether a StaticGroup should include this interface. Care can be taken in the specification prose to ensure everything is OK for that node.

"A browser shall prevent all illegal attempts to modify the StaticGroup and its children."

all the best, Don
