[x3d-public] X3D futures, from systems to semantics to holistically

So with X3D, we likely have a good grasp of what our software systems are
doing, and we are continuing to develop X3D semantics and metadata to
describe high level behavior and structures.

So what I invite you to think about next is “Holistic X3D.” What I think
I mean by this is X3D so embedded in our lives that we don’t even recognize
it as another technology. How do we make X3D authoring as easy as working
with clay for example, for claymation? How can we input a script and get
out a movie? How do we make virtual museums any human can explore? How
can we speed innovation by separating X3D authoring from building X3D
browsers, so they can be worked on in parallel?

Comments are welcome.
