[x3d-public] Fractal matrices versus tensor

[John Carlson]

Is a matrix with some scalars replaced with various matrices called a
fractal matrix or a tensor?   It would seem like this is mainly applicable
to graphics in terms of octrees and quadtrees.   What is a fractree?
