[x3d-public] Query: particle systems and fluid collidables

Wind speed is a set of vectors, you can’t change the speed, only the height, then the image shows the speed and direction. Setting up an example and seeing what happens is far above this simple display of current conditions,
Just added a couple of months ago is the Bio Fires select (for land) that shows heat spots and fires.

Thanks, Joe, looks super cool.  What appeared to change wind speed only changed units.  It looked like wind direction changed on its own.

Will reconsider wording of “interactive” to include user modification to of displayed data.   What I mean is changing where high and low pressure spots are on the globe, and how high and low they are.   Wind affects pressure and pressure affects wind—I’m working on get user involved, like in “what-ifs”

I’m think about doing interactive weather simulations and interactive weather maps (SVG, X3D, etc.).

I’m also thinking of creating healing mandalas from particle sand.   I was thinking of a Minecraft mod.

Is Google appropriate for research, or does someone have a big hint?   I’m looking for prior art.
