Thanks John, fine work.
The table shows schema problems relative to the loa3 and loa4 diagrams when processing a model that is correct according to diagrams.
I am just adding my comments to this.

Just more comment where the three * items below are messages from schema processing.
‘Correct’ means according to loa3 and loa4 diagrams.
• vl5 has parent humanoid_root rather than expected sacroiliac
The schema shows sacro as parent to vl5 and l_ and r_hips.
Correct is root parents sacro and vl5; sacro parents l_ and r_hips.
• l_sternoclavicular has parent vt1 rather than expected vc7
• r_sternoclavicular has parent vt1 rather than expected vc7
The schema shows vc7 as parent to vc6 and r_ and l_sterno.
Correct is vt1 parents vc7 and r_ and l_sterno.
Much to discuss regarding some existing examples.
Joe

Table fixed (had extra l):

Let's try to work on this document for clarity, and share link to group.

LOA2 hierarchy diagram has a different sibling, but the right parent for the latter two. Since I am not based on schema, schematron or X3DUOM, I don't have to accommodate this.
I am doing LOA4.
LOA4 and LOA2 pictures included, highlighting areas where there was confusion.
Please read back your understanding.

Sounds like progress, but not quite focused enough to make any fixes yet…. Clarity his critical.
Hopefully you guys can create a simple list consisting of simple triplets:
• suspect joint or segment name,
• the incorrect parent described in the X3D XML schema,, and
• the correct parent shown by the diagrams in the specifications.
If there is such a simple list of a few names/errors/corrections available, I hope to have some time Monday or Tuesday afternoon to work on it together. Onward…

Hi,
The expected ones are not correct. Vl5 is a child of root and sternos and vc7 are childs of vt1. The schematron claims are wrong.
The schematron is wrong according to the Concepts 4 diagrams for loa3 and loa4.
• Yes, vl5 is a child of sacroiliac, according to Joe. X3DUOM/schematron wins!
No, vl5 is a child of root. Schematron is wrong.
The diagrams are correct.

l_sternoclavicular has parent vt1 rather than expected vc7. Please confirm.
r_sternoclavicular has parent vt1 rather than expected vc7. Please confirm.
