[x3d-public] splats on list or list on splats

Joe, We don't have impressive stuff. Just colored point clouds at this
point. We can demo it, but we need SphereSets which could be groups of
X_ITE InstancedShape Spheres, but we need to determine how to group
identical Material (Appearance) at least. We have very large PLY files
currently. Converting this accurately to X3D makes huge files, and
SphereSets or InstancedShapes (with different colors) are indicated.

I'm guessing only I'm the only one interested in grouping Material at this
point, and I don't know how to parse a PLY file. I am providing my code as
a starting point. Just realize this system was compromised March 31st, so
open this file in a safe manner (I suggest in the cloud). I will rescan my
system.

I think Michalis might be best prepared to create a SphereSet in Pascal.

I got distracted from HAnim on this.

Thanks,

John
